Intro to Novel
As the grey skies cloud over the vastness of London. Fabian Green rises in the same orderly fashion as he does every day. His silk pyjamas practically creaseless, his hair short, shiny and combed to the side, and his slippers waiting for him like two warm gloves on a cold winters day. Today is Wednesday, it is the same Wednesday as last Wednesday, and it will be the same as the next. It was the same as the Wednesday of Fabian’s fathers' death, and mostly the same as the Mondays and Fridays that so studiously sandwich it, year after year, day after day. On Sunday’s Fabian takes leave of his dutiful routine, if it is sunny he takes flowers to his mothers apartment in Bellingham.
