Portfolio

This is my final bachelor project: "ZigBee based Local Positioning System". It locates and tracks an object in indoor space. I am especially proud with that first project, which I have done completely from the idea to the working demo version, ready for mass production.

The idea was design and implementation/production of very cheep positioning system, based on the ZigBee extremely low-power wireless interface. I design the co-hardware software system, build the first hardware unit prototype, and programmed the ATMEGA 16L MC to control the XBee transiever. Then with Altium Designer I designed the PCB and order it from manufacturer. I soldered the components and implemented a back-end application with DB to register maps and objects, to find a objects and localized it and find the object track in time.

The project including the thesis writing was completed for 4 months and evaluated by the most qualified and strict professors in the University with an excellent note
