Pakistan National Student Satellite One (PNSS-1), a mega venture initiated by SUPARCO aims at developing an educational microsatellite for introducing space science culture among educational institutes of Pakistan. We were supposed to develop an FPGA based Fault Tolerant Onboard Computer which is responsible for running various Attitude Control Subsystem (ACS) algorithms, ACS failure detection, running system software like an RTOS and acting as a Data Handling Unit (DHU) in case of DHU failure.
