Contest Brief

To clarify, I am asking contestants to create a real water color illustration and make a photo shoot of it or your other water color work as a submission-image. I am not looking for photoshop, AI generated imagery, or printed images. I am only looking for a hand painted original water color illustration.

I’m seeking a talented artist to create a beautiful Impressionist-style watercolor painting, specifically a portrait for my girlfriend. This task will require:

- Expertise in watercolor medium: Your portfolio should clearly display your capability in this medium and you should have ample experience creating high-end watercolor pieces.
- Skill in portrait and Impressionist art: I’d like the portrait to reflect the Impressionist style. Proficiency in creating portraits and a strong understanding of the Impressionist style are must-haves.
- Creativity and attentiveness: I hope to find an artist who can bring a unique touch to the piece and carefully consider my specific requests and suggestions.

Ideally you have previous experience in commissioned portrait artwork and have a knack for capturing the essence of the subject in your pieces. Please provide examples of past work that aligns with this project

    Well I just wasted a day actually doing this contest coming up with a nice modern concept and actually painting it on real water colour paper. Very annoying to see flowers win but well done to the freelancer who won it. I think the CH should post this sort of work on projects in the future.
