Contest Brief
I purchased an FPV Drone off the Unreal Engine marketplace and it has a bug. When I turn the quadcopter upside down, it accelerates towards the moon, it should, instead, fall to planet earth.
It seems that "gravity" pulls directly down from the propellers, bc if I turn the quadcopter sideways, it will pull in the direction of any object behind the propellers.
You can view an example of the bug here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EILCS0yC1BY
I simply need the quadcopter to fall to the ground
when the throttle is at ZERO, same as in real life.
Here is how to win:
1. Fix the bug
2. Upload video with proof that the quadcopter falls DOWN (to earth), when inverted/sideways
The first one to upload PROOF wins!
Thank you!
The quadcopter MUST be flown with a gamepad (Playstation.Xbox) or Remote Controller
If you need help connecting your RC to Unreal Engine here is how
1. Go to Plugins and Install 'Raw Input Settings'
2. After it is installed, go to Project Settings, scroll to Raw-Input-Settings, and click the + symbol next to 'Device Configuration'
After those 2-steps, your RC will work to control the drone, and will be listed under 'Generic USB Input Device'
Here is the complete asset which needs fixing
