We have a website that is running on BuddyPress, WooCommerce, WC-Vendor Pro, bbPress, and custom built O-Auth plugin. However we would like to setup a second shop on the same WordPress site. This second shop needs to not interfere with the rest of the site and work on a credit-token like system. What I mean is, the site will not use regular currency, members can have credits added to their account and they spend the credits to purchase items. To get credits we would like to print out "redemption codes" that we can put on business cards and hand out at events. When someone gets a card with a code on it, they can go to our site and redeem the code to add credits to their account. They then can spend these credits anytime they would like to. Have a basic Wordpress site for posts & commenting. Was using BuddyPress & bbpress. But now have an external (proprietary) site for handling membership and a few other services. Posts and commenting remain at the wordpress site. Need to integrate a few membership aspects with the proprietary site. Proprietary site has own RESTful API, that will return GETs in JSON. Need: 1) Correlation between UID (or at least users) on both systems. As can only GET, must be able to setup a wordpress user that is tied into a proprietary system user. 2) A few minor changes to commenting, like linking user name/avatar on commenting system, to user profile on proprietary system (rather than wordpress user).

Hi there, I have built a prototype website, but it looks terrible, I am seeking some help to get some of the plugins I have in there looking good. The catch is I need the project completed in 36 hours. I would see the main items are: - Buddypress needs a theme to make it look better. The profile pages with the big text look awful. - When I click 'questions' from the "Questions Plugin", you can see each item does not format properly. I need this to be fixed up so it looks reasonable. - When I click 'events' and 'courses' I have a very similar problem. Trying to change the default show option on the buddypress activity feed to the "updates" feature instead of it defaulting to "everything". From the image below you can see the activity stream in buddypress an how everything is the default option for it. When people visit our activity feed, i want it to be on updates by default as were using it for a shoutpage.

As we all know buddypress checks for last active every 5mins to check if user is active or not. Most times without much activity, buddypress sees the user as offline, whereas he is truly still logged on but he is not doing anything on the site. I need a custom solution to fix this and tell a person is truly online whether he is active on the site or not, as long as he is still logged in. I have cometchat cloud which has a real time online status, if its possible to sync this to buddypress.

We also need to install Buddypress but it is not working. The theme developers are not helpful regarding this problem. After installation the buttons e.g. Register, Activate, etc do not work. We know its a theme issue as we've tested it on a spare site with a default theme and it works fine. We dont really know if Listify and Buddypress are compatible so this project may not be possible. The theme developers suggest its possible but we are not convinced. Therefore we need someone who has used Buddypress before and is an expert at Wordpress. ...
