I have a website which is currently run on a script from Gossamer Threads called Links SQL Version: 2.1.2. This script is no longer supported and is now becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. I would like to transfer the database to a WordPress website I have mocked up which uses a plugin called Yummly Rich Recipes. Ideally I would like to have the database converted from the one site to the other so I don't have to manually transfer each of the 1000+ recipes one by one. They both run on MySQL databases and although I have a basic knowledge of how to edit it, this would be beyond me. This project requires meal plans' creation automated for our customers using Yummly API. This involves shortlisting recipes based on a customer's eating preferences (choices defined by Yummly API). Selected recipes will be used to create a grocery list. Unfortunately this is not directly addressed by the API. However, each recipe has a list of ingredients and quantities which needs to be parsed to create the grocery list. The choice of available recipes will also be filtered based on macronutrient requirements. The detailed recipe selection criteria will explained prior to selection of your proposal.
