I am looking for an animator who specializes in abstract and symbolic artistry to create a 2D animated series pilot. This series should be designed for an adult audience and carry a theme of empathy and the importance of perspective told through tragedy. As we'll dive into a post-apocalyptic earth, with the primary character being a teenage scavenger, the ideal candidate should be capable of capturing the essence of a tragically heroic tale. - Animation Style: The animation should be abstract and symbolic, with striking colors along a visually simple backdrop depicting a half-destroyed planet earth, a hard life of scavenging in ruins, and the struggle of our protagonist, "Red". - Emotion: Emphasize on invoking empathy and sadness in the audience. This is a story of struggle and protection in a ravaged world, and these emotions need to be ever-present. The main character also wears a mask so ensure the eyes are clearly visable and expressive. - Audience: Hold the understanding that this series is intended for adults. We're telling a mature story with thematic elements that are geared towards a young adult audience.
