Purpose:
The intent of the controller is to divert surplus electricity generated from solar panels to the hot water system. The program will poll a Flukso controller (flukso json - [url removed, login to view]) on the local network to obtain the household usage and generation (I can provide an example output of the callup). It will also obtain usage data from a local current clamp sensor (as Flukso consumption includes both hot water system and other household usage) connected to the hot water system and DS18B sensor connected at the hot water system.
THIS SHOULD BE DONE FAIRLY LIVE: EVERY 10 secs
If solar > household + current clamp
Then
PIN Out = HIGH // to drive solid state relay
Else
PIN Out = LOW // disconnect hws
THIS SHOULD BE DONE FAIRLY SAY EVERY 10MIN:
If temp < 50
Then
PIN Out = HIGH // to drive solid state relay regardless of excess production //until temperature gets back up to say 60 deg
ALSO:
Upload HWS sensor temp and Current Clamp sensor to [url removed, login to view] as a Custom field
Include serial print output of status in case i want to attach an lcd or diagnose problems
