Visual Basic 6.0 program and Source Code to do the following: On the 1st of each month, create a zipped file of the files in each specified customer folder for the previous month, and email as an attachment. See full description in deliverables. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. DESCRIPTION Project Goal Email each customer a zipped attachment on the 1st of every month containing all files created the previous month. Application's Automated Features On the 1st of every month automatically send an email to each customer we have stored in a database where the value for SendZipEmail(see database fields below) is set to true. The application will automatically search and zip all files found with a creation date between the first and last day of the previous month from a specified folder location(including subfolders) for each customer. It will then email the zipped file as an attachment to one or more email addresses found in a database and leave the original files as is. The application will keep a copy of the zipped file created and name that file with previous month's name and year. Example: if today's date is January 1st 2008 the application will search and zip all files created from the 12/01/07 to 12/31/07 and name the file [login to view URL] and store it in a seperate specified folder. The application will also search for and delete all Files older than the specified number of months (see database fields required MonthsToKeep)for each customer from the same folder location (including subfolders) for ALL customers in the database. Example: If today's date is January 1st 2008 and the MonthsToKeep was 12 then all files with a creation date older than 01/01/07 should be deleted. Folders should NEVER be deleted. Application's Manual Features A form to manually specify a one time action to search, zip and email. Form will allow user to select a root folder by browsing, allow user to specify beginning and end dates to search (using a date control), allow user to enter one or more email addresses to send search results and allow user to enter a file name and path to store zipped file as a backup. Form will have a 'Send' button in which the application will search the desired folder(including subfolders) for files created between the dates entered and email the zipped file as an attachment to the email address(es) provided when clicked. A second form to search for and delete files. Form will allow user to browse for a root folder, allow user to enter a "older than" date (use date control) and include a 'Delete' button. When 'Delete' button is clicked the application will search the desired folder(including subfolder) for all files created before the "older than" date entered and delete. Folders and subfolders are NEVER deleted. Database Creation and Interface needed for the following fields Database Fields required (need Microsoft Access Database) CustomerSID (text) - internal customer identifier CustomerName (text) - customer name SendZipEmail (boolean)- if true sends a email with zipped attachment MonthsToKeep (Number) - number of months to keep file from creation date RootFolderPath (text) - local path to customer root folder where files are searched ZipArchivePath (text) - path where zip files are stored for backup EmailAddress (text) - one or more email addresses where zipped file will be sent SendZipEmail only sends email with zip attachment if true but ALWAYS deletes files older than MonthsToKeep value whether true or false for all customers. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. and Canadian Copyright laws. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
