I'm in need of a compelling pitch deck for my feature film. This project primarily targets spiritual inspirational audiences, carrying the pivotal theme - world peace begins with peace in the human heart. The deck should consist of approximately 20 to 25 slides.
The Promise - is a feature musical film. It is the screenplay adaptation of a stage musical.
The Promise begins in Connecticut in 1998 where we briefly meet 45-year-old nurse Joanna Olsen, who has a mysterious and mystical experience. She begins writing The Miracle of Fatima musical.
And then suddenly it’s 2016 and we are in the Dominican Republic.
We meet the wealthy Valdez family (atheists) who are faced with the unimaginable. Six-year-old Jacinta Lucia Valdez is diagnosed with a malignant tumor. When the treatment in the Republic fails, they seek a cure elsewhere. They land in Lisbon, Portugal on May 10, 2017, to begin a new medical trial. This is where Joanna (now nearly 65) and Jacinta Lucia meet. It is the Centennial Celebration of the 1917 Fatima event, when a Beautiful Lady from heaven appears to 3 children and gives them the remedy for peace on earth.
Joanna shares the story of the children and her own Fatima journey with Jacinta Lucia and her parents.
When the trial ends the tumor is gone.
We end our story in 2022, in the DR we see Jacinta Lucia, a now healthy strong 12- year - old.
Then we end with Joanna, now 70, is walking on the beach where the journey began. She looks upward and the face of Jacinta Lucia appears in a billowing cloud. We hear the child’s voice, “I will tell the Fatima story to everyone forever. I made this promise to the Beautiful Lady.

What's been done to date:
The screenplay is done and in English and Spanish. All the music, including full orchestration, is done.
Costumes – done (details in the deck)
Film locations and studios – in the DR to recreate 1917 Fatima identified. Details in the deck
The DR film commission will commit 2 million dollars to the project. We want to raise another 15 -20 million.
Casting, most of the cast are Dominican, and are bilingual. We’re filming in English and Spanish, and we will dub in other languages. We are just starting to bring on “named talent” Manny Perez (from In the Heights) is one of them.
Distribution strategy is being led by a longtime friend and supporter of the work, who just happens to be the Director of the International Apostolate of Fatima Latin American Countries. Previously, he led the entire global Fatima organization for 47 years. (details in the deck) And in case you didn’t know, Latin America is home to more than 483 million Catholics, which is nearly 41.3% of the world’s total Catholic population1.
