As part of my experience, I have created profitable indicators and strategies on tradingview using pinescript, fine tuned the parameters using auto optimization by coding the strategy on python and performing the parameter optimization. I usually extensively backtest any idea i work, even the options strategies (by saving the options data for the tickers i am interested in, rather than buying the data, and i have programs that automate this process rather than me sitting at a computer and trying to gather this data) with testing across good and bad market conditions for the strategy to make sure the guardrails and strong for the developed strategy.
