Hi, I am seeking an experienced Android app developer to modify an Android application I have built. It's basically a 2D game with an AI character - very simple. I would like to hire somebody to add objects to the game screen and for the AI to navigate around them. I would also like the selected freelancer to implement, in their own android/java code, this algorithm: [login to view URL] in place of my current algorithm for the AI mode. Also, each and every line of code you write must be commented to explain what is happening. I believe I am a good fit for this project because I have worked on android apps before (Can be seen in my portfolio), and I also have worked on several flash games as well as a game created with the Java Slick Libraries. My plan for this project: I will add the objects as their own object class so that they can be spawned at will. I will also create a separate class for the A* algorithm. It is not clear in the proposal if hit detecting is needed, if it is then I will use a hit box hit detection system but if more accuracy is desired then I will use a pixel based detection system.
