Press Release as trial for ongoing marketing/writing position

Australian education charity seeking writing/PR/marketing support. This project requires the freelancer to write: - one short, one-page press release about a recent school program, to be pitched to local media. We will provide rough notes about the program and a previous press release as an example. - one blog post about the same school program to use as content on our Wordpress website (approximately 250-350 words). The successful freelancer will have excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress and MailChimp. Previous experience in the education or not-for-profit/community sectors is desirable.
