What would be interesting first and foremost is the perspective of the choir participants, explaining what about being part of the choir has influenced their lives. Longer partaking members can suggest a history of the choir, which can then be either voiced in a monologue from one of the Choir members, or in a voice over (recorded by me.) In other documentary and image film video projects I've undertaken in the past, I used this combination of the words of participants, with a narrative, which I would then write, and record as voice over. When and why was the choir founded, and in what tradition (religious, dominational, or as community endeavor, etc.) then longer term, what has this choir offered to its community? What transformations have taken place, internal and external for choir members, and for the community? What does music mean to the participants and the opportunity to create music in a hands on environment, in connection with others?
