Asp.Net Core MVC Razor Login Page

Using C# I need an asp.net core razor login page created. Very basic page, just a label that says Welcome, a label that says username: a textbox for the user to input a username, a label thet says password, and a text box for the user to input password and a submit button. On the submit press I need the input user credentials to be validated against the Entity Framework Database Table tblUsers and validate that the username input matches the username field in the Entity Framework table, and the password input matches the password for the specified user in the Entity Framework table AND the field active = 1 in the Entity Framework table. If those requirements are met then redirect to [login to view URL], if they ARE NOT met display a message on screen that says invalid user name or password. I need this done solely with the Entity Framework table, I do not want to use a stored procedure or an additional database call.
