Hi I am looking to build a set of security tools and have come up with an issue to detect inside Cryptor as it seems to keep the file headers but encrypts everything (but keeps files names and extensions etc). What I need is a way of being able to detect by way of an algorithm / rule set Inside Cryptor type ransomware. Happy to go all out on this one even if we need to use machine learning or anything specific to try and detect this. We will always have the original file and the encrypted file as contained in the link below. Ideally this code will be something that fits into a wider C# application but for now just looking for a proof of concept so no bells and whistle needed. Please not jokers / idiots and happy to pay higher rates for good people. The general test plan will be as below: -Code can spot the file differences if it has been encrypted (I can send more variations) -General genuine changes to the files can happen and wont trigger detection -Output to confirm encrption detection can just be a value of 1 somewhere (as this is a POC).
