Good afternoon! I have to say that working with kids, mental health and meaningful work ticks all of the boxes on my checklist of jobs I really enjoy doing. My mother in law works at the mental health and addictions office where I live and is also involved in the local youth drama theatre so every opportunity I get I am jumping in to help. I have done all kinds of work at the mental health office. I painted a mural on the children’s treatment room, I have taught watercolour painting to their clients and was even supposed to host a journaling class for the staff at the Alberta Health Services retreat until the budget was unfortunately cut. I recently designed a logo for the Youth Drama Theatre 75 group, often find myself painting their signs and backdrops and designing logos for the “companies” featured in their productions. Needless to say, I like to get involved when it’s for a good cause and I believe that makes me a healthy candidate for your project. I have over 10 years professional experience in Design/Illustration. I am also a talented watercolour painter, which might encourage you to try something more unique with the design of your card game!
