If you are a person that can fill these big shoes, let\\\'s talk!\r\n\r\nTele-Prospector Position Overview\r\n\r\nThe primary purpose of this role is to generate leads for industry directory membership upgrades and to gather email addresses for free directory inclusion. Over time the role will be expanded to include lead generation/nurturing for all advertising services. This is a virtual position and starts out at 10 hours per week, and expected to expand to 20 hours per week over a three- to six-month period.\r\n\r\nPosition Responsibilities\r\n\r\nContact current and potential customers via outbound telephone calls, and attempt to sell, up-sell, and bundle customers into programs that achieve specific business objectives and meet customer needs. \r\n\r\nHandle phone calls and process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all company-wide standards and expectations are met. \r\n\r\nUtilize, maintain and continuously improve various sales and communication \r\ntechniques, knowledge of LocalDirective products; services; programming; prices; promotions; and technical skills. \r\n\r\nExecute miscellaneous projects by contributing as requested in a positive collaborative and productive manner to the Marketing & Sales team and LocalDirective. \r\n\r\nAbility to quickly learn the LocalDirective specific telephone and computer programs, systems and processes.\r\n\r\nType 40 wpm. Ability to multi-task on the telephone while simultaneously \r\nnavigating through various computer systems. Has computer and telephone, and an area to work.\r\n\r\nRequired Skills\r\n\r\nAbility to verbally communicate clearly, persuasively and professionally in order \r\nto achieve the desired/expected sales and customer satisfaction goals. \r\n\r\nDemonstrate proper use of the English language with proper enunciation in a \r\npleasant, appealing and friendly tone. \r\n\r\nAbility to professionally and concisely communicate in writing with correct \r\nspelling, composition and grammar. \r\n\r\nPrevious Telemarketing experience in an outbound environment.\r\n\r\nRequired Experience\r\n\r\nHigh School diploma or recognized equivalent.\r\nPossess knowledge, skills and experience in telephone sales and customer service.
