Develop Product Number generator

Hello, I would like to work with you on this project. I can build you a solution to generate product IDs in many technologies: MS-Access Excel C#.Net I assume that you have a list of products and want to associate each with a unique number (a string of numbers and characters according to some business rules). I assume that the process would be to provide an input file with products to the application and get out the list of products associated with the product numbers. MS-Access would be useful if you want to run reports on the products and if you have a very large number. Otherwise, a sequential file or MS-Excel may be adequate. It depends on your detailed requirements. Anyway, all such scenarios are simple to implement.
