I couldn't get any error from Javascript, but the idea is that there are some scripts probably conflicting between them. Also, as you changed your theme and related that the previous one was working, we have to verify about JS files and JQuery version that it uses, see if it's not overcoming on the JQuery Drupal default (or if using JQuery Update module accordingly).
