I need a small circuit and PCB layout designed. Project is to enable control of a small DC motor via I2c /GPIO and provide accurate current measurement. Features- -Interface to master via I2c or GPIO -Directional control of a single DC motor using h-bridge -Current measurement either integrated in H-bridge e.g MC33926 or separate hall-sensor. -A/D conversion of current measurement > 50Hz, >10 bit e.g MCP3424. -Board powered by 24V DC power supply -To include adjustable switching regulator for motor supply voltage adjustable 12-18v -To include regulated 5v supply for Host system (Olimex A20 LIME) Motor 15V DC running current 500mA, Stall current 2A. Stall occurs for 0.1s 300 times per hour. Board will be interfaced to an Olimex A20-LIME([login to view URL]) and can use any pins on GPIO1 connector 10 prototype units will be produced. Hi, I have about 17 years of experience in design of embedded hardware products. From my understanding, the host will provide I2C interface and I should design, fabricate and supply these boards, right? Should it be tested with Olimex board or can I use any other board that I have for I2C Interface? I am also assuming that the 24V source is not a part of the supply... Regards Vinod
