I had enrolled at Wits Language School and they provided me with intense training and teaching practical that has me prepared for this position. My interest in esl teaching came from the projects that I got involved in that had me teaching or facilitating. I became part of a teaching programme during my studies in 2015. We taught English to kindergarten in a fun and interactive way. I also co-facilitated other projects to varsity learners, more details are on the CV. What made me enrol in a tesol course is because when I was doing projects for 12th graders in my community, they had trouble with communicating and understanding in English.

These principles include, maintaining a communicative environment that involves the learners throughout, establishing rapport with the students so they can feel free, building the students confidence, grading the language to allow better understanding for the student, making use of visual aids to keep students interested, error corrections that do not break-down the students but still make them involved.
As shown by my experience in teaching and facilitating in projects, I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do the best for my students. I am able to take on responsibility and put a detailed lesson plan, as well as manage the learning environment. I also have the determination to ensure that I make a success of this role. I have leadership skills within me and I can work effectively in a team. I can work effectively in a diverse setting and always with a learning mentality to grow and be more skilful. I am very professional and determined with dedication to all that is required. I am confident in my capabilities.
