Help writing documentary script/treatment

I am looking for a skilled writer to help me with writing a documentary script and treatment. Main Focus: - The origin story of the Ironman Triathlon *** Theme of our film *** The modern day version of triathlon is what it is because of an idea/contest that played out called the Ironman. From the stories the media built around it in the early 80's, to the people who spent countless hours molding it behind the scenes, to the epic battles/races between professionals, to it growing across the globe, to the identity it ultimately took on, and all the way to the lives it has changed over the past 45 years. In 1978 The Ironman distance changed what the grassroots version of those early once/twice a year events were in California, and gave it a blueprint for what could be. The Collins didn't invent the sport of triathlon, but they and others in their community came up with something that transformed it by raising the stakes and tapping into the urge to plumb the depths of limitation that goes through every competitor's mind and body. We have interviewed various people but just lost are writer. We are wanting to create a short version to help raise funds for a feature. We have narrowed down soundbite selects around various themes. So its really taking those to craft a rough outline that we can then go in and fine tune. We also have a variety of archival footage from early races with time codes as well to help tell some of the story. Documentary Length: - The desired length for the documentary is 10 minutes or less, but open to it being longer if needed. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Experience in documentary scriptwriting - Ability to tell a compelling and engaging story - Creative and innovative approach to storytelling - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in presenting facts - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently If you have a passion for history and documentary filmmaking, and possess the necessary skills and experience, I would love to hear from you.
