Feedback Module (Go-Lang and React stacks)

OVERVIEW Please read carefully and completely our project description below and make sure to address ALL of our questions/requirements in your bid. WHO WE ARE We are a small startup company working on a platform that will help our customers greatly increase their productivity. The platform will allow users to create workspaces that are fully configured (for the user’s major function) and that will help them to highly automate day-to-day activities – all done through a web-browser. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE We need help in developing a feedback module that is a part of our platform. The module uses go lang/gin/gorm/viper tech stack on the backend and react/ts on the frontend. The backend persists its data in PostgreSQL and interacts with other services of the platform using REST API. An ideal candidate will be directly working side by side with one (or two) of our founders who have significant experience in relevant tech stacks. Please no need to use any sort of project manager from your end. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Here are our mandatory and nice-to-have requirements. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: - At least 4+ years of experience with development of backend services using go-lang/gin/gorm stack. - At least 2+ year experience with a SQL DB (PostgreSQL is preferred). - Great communication skills in English. The candidate must be OK interacting with us over a voice chat. In our highly dynamic environment we aren’t going to be able to document every single detail of our requirements. - Knows and follows well a standard agile methodology (scrum-based PM) and relevant tech stack (git repo + CI system such as GitHub/GitLab + uses pull request-based code management). NICE TO HAVE: - Actual experience developing frontends using React/TS stack. - Experience developing automation tasks using Python + Robot framework. There is no expectation that the candidate has this background in addition to the React/TS background. - Alignment with our time zone EST (UTC-4). Since we intend to communicate verbally we need to have at least partial overlap of your work hours with our time zone. YOUR BID Before submitting your bid please make sure it: 1. Addresses ALL mandatory requirements and our expectations outlined in section What Needs to be Done. 2. Includes references to your previous projects that confirm your match with our mandatory requirements. We strongly prefer references to your source code (definitely strip out any sensitive information of your previous clients). 3. Includes your hourly rate. If it varies depending on the length of our engagement - one for a first time short-term engagement and another for long-term work - please include both. NEXT STEPS Once we have identified the candidate we will assign them a small task and depending on its outcome will form a long-term relationship.
