Map illustrator needed for contract publisher

Absolute Publishing are contract publishers based in London who have an outstanding portfolio of client magazines. Our range of travel magazines feature destination maps for which we are seeking a freelance illustrator/cartographer to work on for the forseeable future. We would need something in the range of 90-100 maps a year. Some months we would require 15 maps, other months 5 maps, depending on the fall of our quarterly publications. There may also be scope in future for a set of country maps for our two annual directories. The maps are not particularly detailed, nor should take very long to build. A typical map might feature a country, surrounding borders, capital city, airport, main towns and places of interest noted in the accompanying feature. They would not need relief, roads, rivers or anything to this kind of detail. Some maps vary in that they may be city maps (to include roads and places of interest) and some require insets to geographically locate them.
