Children's book illustrations

Looking for: Reliable illustrators to work on current and future children's books for our clients. All styles will be considered (watercolour, digital art, cartoon, etc.). Please provide your portfolio and what you charge for 1 simple, full-page colour illustrations. If applicable, please also include your price for complex full-page colour illustrations.
A little about us: We are a small family-owned publishing business. We help authors of many different genres publish their books. Currently, we have many children’s books that need illustrations done. We are looking for artists who can follow the design brief for each book carefully and work quickly to meet deadlines if needed.
Often our authors are looking for simple, classic illustration styles that suit their modest publishing budget.
Our illustration process is as follows:
1. We would provide you with a design brief that outlines what is required for each illustration, including examples images if needed.
2. You provide 1 sample illustration (e.g. main character design) for the client to approve before you go ahead.
3. You provide initial rough sketches (to show placement) for the author to approve before colouring. The author is aware that all amendments and colour requests must be made at the sketch stage.
4. Once the sketches are approved, you colour the images. Any final amendments to colour illustrations can be requested. (If changes are extensive and require the illustration to be redone, at this point you can request additional charges.)
