I am looking for a skilled web developer to build a new car website for me. The purpose of the website is to showcase the cars we build to potential clients/customers. The branding and logo for the website have already been established. At this stage as the cars are in production we may not have any finished cars and finished photos until much later this year however, we need to start getting our website out there now or at least soon. I can send you some photos of other cars if you like and then we can replace them later with the real photos, 1. These sites give some ideas on how to possibly present the cars but they're not what I want to use overall. I'm looking at other car maker websites for specific pages that we can adopt to save time and so you can see what layout I am aiming for; For the Homepage I would like to have a video at the top. For the Models we sell page this is quite well presented [login to view URL] Or [login to view URL] For the specific model they select to open up more details this is a nice page [login to view URL] Or [login to view URL] Then if they want to be more specific this is well done but maybe a little out of our league [login to view URL] For the News page this is quite okay [login to view URL] Or [login to view URL] 3. Structure - what all do we want to communicate at the website, and what action do you want visitors to take before leaving the site? As per above I think we can cover off on the certain elements for the website to make the cars we offer to build and sell clear and smooth. By giving you all these examples above it should make the process more efficient rather than you completing it from a laid out example of what each page should look like. The website will consist of 6-10 pages, including a home page, about the cars we sell portfolio page, new media ,contact page, and potentially additional pages for blog or other content. Ideal skills and experience for this job include: - Strong proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Experience with responsive design and ensuring the website looks and functions well on mobile devices - Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize the website for search engines - Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Joomla - Attention to detail and the ability to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website If you have the skills and experience necessary for this project, please submit your proposal with examples of your past work and an estimated timeline for completion.
