Children's Book Illustrations - seeking collaborative illustrator

I am working on pulling together a children's book for my godson and his siblings and am seeking an illustrator to work with me on developing the images. The final book will be printed by me using a service such as vistaprint (my last book used the 21cm*21cm page option and will probably look to do the same). Key concepts: There will be three main characters, all children who I would like to provide reference photos for. The main features of the images will be the children in home environments with food items. I am looking for a primary white background with just the characters and their accessories (eg, rather than being in a kitchen, the children might be holding a fry pan each). There are some more complex images envisioned, such as in one double spread scene the three children are in the corner of one page, using cooking utensils, while looking at bigger images of birds (eg chickens, ducks, geese) spread over the two pages. The book is based on nine single spread images and two double spread images. A google doc with the text and image guidance has been prepared.
