I am an oracle Apps technical consultant with over 11 years of experience .I used to work in Tata Consultancy Services before I started freelancing . I am well versed in the AIM methodology and will complete your project (RICE components) using the AIM. I am interested in your project . Details requested Q1) 1)Licensing cost is zero. 2)Since its custom code ,we can build it to according to the requirements .There are no restrictions. 3)This can be hosted onto the web without expsosing your ERP application. Cons 1)Interfaces built have to be monitored for handling errored records. 2)You will need people with different skill sets to maintain your system .One set of people for JAVA stack and another set of people for the EBS suite 2Q) I do not have any experience on booking systems. However ,I have built a number of bolt ons on the EBS suite using the OAF framework .These bolt ons have added additional logic to the EBS suite (additional screens were added) without effecting the EBS modules . 3Q) I can forsee we will need interfaces with 1)AR (recievables) to bring in the amount of revenue generated by the booking 2)Inventory :This would be required if you want to show the tickets as items in the inventory master 3)AP(Payables): For paying vendors I think the system should be built in OAF like the iProcurement ,Irecruitement modules..

What are pros and cons of java based booking system. --> Cons :- I am assuming its a standalone application which is build to book Sales Order. In this case it is lacking the other functionality like Receipt Generation, shipping Process tracking etc. All these functionality available in EBS as a single product. --> Pros:- Since its a Java based which is open source so customer has to pay no license fee to use Java. 2. example of any previous work on java based booking system. --> I have worked on Oracle Sales Cloud which is java based. 3. What main steps are required to integrate booking system with Oracle EBS. --> Step 1) We need to prepare do data mapping file. --> Step 2) Insert data in Staging table in EBS. --> Step 3) Need to validate data in staging table. Mark the record as Valid or Error based on result of validation. Do the data transformation if required. --> Step 4) Call EBS API or Open Interface to import data from Staging table to Base tables for valid records. --> Step 5) Acknowledge end result to Java Application. Generate report in EBS which states records which are failed with reason and # of records succeed. 4. what will be main problems or challenges to integrate booking system with Oracle EBS. --> Data mapping and if there is any custom process. 5.
