I have a deployed environment running through AWS elastic beanstalk and load balancer, I need professional consultation regarding specific questions, some of these questions are as follows: Is there an alternative way to upload application to the environment other than http ZIP upload? Can I access an ELB EC2 instance over SSH? even though when it was created I didn't have a private/public key associated with it. If I am able to access to the instance behind the ELB, when making code changes, will these be replicated automatically to other EC2 instance created by the load balancer when needed? I have few other questions and details to share with the selected candidate, thank you

Hi Basically I recommended to create new environment without EB in aws u can do it without anydowntime and for deploy code u can use codedeploy services from aws which direct deploy ur code to instances at time from ur github or bitbucket or s3 repo. its aws best-practices approach. If u have not pem key for your ec2 then copy just that server in form of ami and then create new instance from that ami using new pem key and put new instances behind elb but please ping me if u have doubt also I recommended to use amazon efs and mount this efs to your multiple copy of ec2 instances because efs is shared storage for dynamic code. my website [login to view URL]

Hey There To answer your question. 1. yeah you can automatically deploy with github by creating a lambda that will connect github & s3 and bundle a new zip & invoking beanstalk deploy via API. 2. Sure you can do SSH, but generally I don't recommend changing anything in Beanstalk EC2 as it's temporary coz all those configs will be lost whenever the EC2 is terminated. 3. Beanstalk takes care of deploying the code across the entire fleet of EC2 instances in a blue-green manner to avoid downtime. Lemme know your other questions as well. Happy to help Cheers Joy
