We have an existing Asterisk 1.4.x system that supports about 4 channel configurations. We use SIP phones with this system and it is currently housed on a physical server inside of our office network. We would like to move this outside to our co-located servers and at the same time upgrade this to the latest Asterisk version. We require someone who is proficient in Asterisk installations on OpenVZ hosted VMs and isn't just trying to do a 'template installation' of some FreePBX or simple PBX installation. Our channels are highly customized and we need to retain our existing configurations and just migrate them to a later Asterisk version in this hosted environment. If you have done Asterisk installs at a 'raw' level like this, please bid on this project citing that experience. Thanks

I currently run and manage over 50 remote Asterisk PBX Servers with different custom dial plans and versions of Asterisk per system. I am upgrading them to current Asterisk builds frequently as new features and options are needed. I have to migrate the dial plans along with the upgrades. I also run a hosted Asterisk platform for single owner businesses and small businesses. I have installed Asterisk on Xenserver, VMWare, and other Virtual Host Systems. I am very familiar with Linux and the needs it has running in a virtual environment. I always do backups and make sure I can role back without any issues if something comes up that isn't anticipated. I can work after hours as not to interfere with your daily usage of the server. I am very familiar with most SIP phones, specifically Polycom, Grandstream, Aastra, Cisco. I am new to freelancer but have done a lot of contract work outside of this site. As I mentioned before I have clients that do a wide range of things with Asterisk. I can provide references if need be. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Thanks for your time reading this.

Hello, I have been working with Asterisk for about 8 years now. I have experience in custom dial plans and other custom config. When you say you channels are highly customized are you referring to the dialplan or Asterisk API? I can build a new version of FreePBX and Asterisk 11 on your VPS and merge all the needed info over. Let me know if I may be of service. Thanks!

I have experience with projects like this. I have just upgrade one Asterisk + FreePBX installation from Asterisk 1.6 and FreePBX 2.6 to Asterisk 11 and FreePBX 2.11, and from physical server to XenServer virtual server. I know what needs to be done, and how to do it. Please send me the details so that I can start working on this project. Best regards.
