I need help with deriving a mathematical formula in a paper published by Dr Ferdinand Hurter in 1897. My maths is too rusty nowadays, especially in calculus, and I'm having trouble deriving some of the steps required for a full proof of a particular mathematical formula. Some of the notation in the paper looks dodgy and so you need to be prepared for inconsistencies. If you have extensive knowledge in calculus at an advanced academic level, this project is for you. Solid experience in solving and explaining intricate problems in integral calculus is key.
