Hi All, I have a few scripts in desktop that need to be run in a daily basis independent if my local desktop is open. The process are the following : 1. Connect manual to a broker 2. Run the matlab script to get data from the broker ( it takes 5min) 3. Show the results I need a developer/IT person who can help me to set up the above processes in cloud computing (Amazon has solution for cloud computing ). I am open to any alternative recommendations instead of cloud computing. If you need extra information please let me know. Thanks

Hi, I'm Matt and can solve your task (22 year of IT development and webmastering, used Matlab in my studies). Several questions to avoid over complicating basically easy tasks you have: 1. How and why do you need to connect to a broker? Presuming Internet connection with a login username and password? How a Matlab script then uses this information, just connect or are you connecting from Matlab? 2. So the time (5 min) is a total time for a script after it has started to complete and get all results? 3. How the results are displayed (already in a script)? I'm asking all because I'm confused with the cloud environment - has somebody suggested that you install Matlab in the webserver instance (in the cloud)? Most likely it would be easier to just automate your desktop tasks with automation software (that will open all software required e.g. connection, Matlab etc and run tasks/scripts in that software). My bid is to create such script for a Windows that you would just double click and it would do your current manual tasks for you - and it can be even triggered by Windows scheduler etc. Looking forward to your reply, Matt
