This mechanical watch movement is designed to be as thin and lightweight as possible, while still providing accurate timekeeping and a long power reserve. The movement uses a unique planetary gear layout to control the seconds, minutes, and hours, with each layer of gears rotating at a different speed.
The watch is powered by three mainsprings, which are recharged by a rotor that moves in response to the motion of the wearer's wrist. The rotor is centrally located in the movement, and rotates in both directions to ensure efficient winding of the mainsprings.
The movement is also designed to be highly accurate, losing less than 1 second per 30 days. This is achieved through the use of carefully crafted and precisely aligned gears, as well as the incorporation of silicone-based parts that reduce weight and friction.
To display the time, the movement uses a unique dead beat seconds complication, which is achieved using two rotating disks. The first disk rotates once per minute, with six positions indicated by a Geneva gear. The second disk rotates six times per minute, with ten positions indicated by another Geneva gear. This combination allows the watch to display the seconds with incredible accuracy, while also adding a visually striking element to the watch face.
In addition to the dead beat seconds complication, the watch also includes a stop display feature that allows the wearer to conserve power when necessary. With the press of a button, the watch stops displaying the time, and then quickly resets to the correct time once the button is released.
The movement is built using a combination of traditional mechanical watchmaking techniques and cutting-edge technology. The gears and other parts are made from high-quality materials, including lightweight and durable alloys, while the use of silicone-based parts ensures maximum efficiency and accuracy.
This movement is designed to be as thin and compact as possible, measuring less than 35mm in width. It has a power reserve of 360 hours, or 15 days, and is entirely manufactured using planetary gear layouts. No traditional gears are used in the movement, and there are no jewels, with silicone parts being used in their place.
Here is the complete parts list for the movement:
Three mainsprings
A centrally located rotor for winding the mainsprings
A unique planetary gear layout for controlling the seconds, minutes, and hours
A dead beat seconds complication achieved using two rotating disks and Geneva gears
A stop display feature for conserving power
Silicone-based parts for weight reduction and reduced friction
High-quality materials for the gears and other parts
No jewels, with silicone parts being used instead
Overall, this mechanical watch movement represents the pinnacle of modern watchmaking technology, combining innovative design, advanced materials, and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques to create a timepiece that is both accurate and reliable, as well as visually stunning.
