Require small media player application and operating system to work on the Raspberry PI device. Image files will be held on a USB memory stick in one port on the Raspberry PI When inactive the screen output should be off, NOT just displaying a blank image. Player will activate the screen and play an image when one of the I/O's on the Raspberry PI is made active (either momentary closure or taken high/low) Image will remain on screen for a pre-defined time (set in the config file) after activation After activation and the image has displayed for the pre-defined time, the screen will again go off. If there are multiple images on the USB stick the player will cycle through the images in turn after each activation. Eg activation 1 = image 1 delay activation 2= image 2 delay etc etc. Choice of operating system should mean that the device will have a very fast boot time after power on. Device will boot up and get the application running waiting for activation via the I/O. Ability to control the display output via the config file so it can operate in any one of the four ways: 1. Portrait 2. Portrait Flipped 3. Landscape 4. Landscape Flipped
