Hi, I have experience of developing a full fledged mobile device management solution (a B2B software product) for my organisation. Android application(s) (client) is installed on device(s) which keeps on running in the background It allows an organisation to monitor and manage all devices from a single web console. Among many of the product features are location tacking and device configuration monitoring which includes battery besides other information. I can develop exactly the kind of application you want. I also have few suggestions for you... 1. Android doesn't allow programmatically enable Location services. So you would need to keep in mind that the end user of the device you need to track 'MUST' have Location services enabled. You can achieve it by adding incident reporting feature to your application which would inform the admin (person watching the location remotely) that the end user has disabled the GPS, and you can send a push notification to the device asking the user to enable GPS back for compliance. 2. Consider reducing the frequency of location you wish to track. Such high frequency would drain the battery in couple of hours. So unless the devices would have access to charging (such as a car dash), I would recommend to keep location tracking to anything above once every 2 minutes. I don't do freelancing work and you can consider me new here but I am not new to development. I exactly need what you want and how to get it done.
