Write an Android application - Lead Android Developer

We, a group of IIT and IIM alumni, are developing a mobile application that will be a new revelation in the mobile space. We are seeking a creative Android mobile application developer who thinks outside the box and can push the limits at times! We're looking for someone who's as passionate as we are about mobile apps for the Android platform and has a seriously kickass portfolio to prove it. You will be involved in every step of the development process, from brainstorming product ideas, to pushing apps out the door. And here we offer you the opportunity to work with our founding team to build the product right from scratch. Requirements: • 2+ years of overall Android development • Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME) • Strong Java skills with extensive knowledge of the Android SDK • Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system • Had delivered in past across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support • Experience using and creating scalable web-based RESTful APIs • Object Oriented PHP skills at all scales • Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP • Exhibit impressive UI/UX skills • Using version control (e.g. SVN) • Excellent debugging and optimisation skills • Exceptional organizational and project management skills • Demonstrated success in defining and launching mobile apps • Skills in Python/Django • LAMP development experience • Knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g. Zend) & PHP template engines (e.g. Smarty) • You're familiar with "hybrid" apps (web views wrapped around a native app) • Familiar with Eclipse
