PAI (Poem as interface) Looking for collaboration on a scientific and artistic project, for digital app that enables visualisation for poem reading and performing. IMPORTAINT NOTICE ! All profiles without relevant portfolio, experience or that are not working on fixed budget will be rejected. Please only full offers after reviewing documentation project ! Individuals or companies that offer explanation on programming language, approach to project. Key words: App Desktop app Web app Real-time audio-visualisation Text transformation Interaction Graphical User Interface Visual Poetry Art History Project description: The PAI is software; interactive tool for analysis of user inputs (words, color associations, and vocalisation) — designed for poem reading and performing, mediated by visual formats and images. PAI enables and encourage users to create content. PAI as exploratory space use specific category of graphical expressions to spatialise complex relation between text, sound and image. E.g. connections between original ideas (original poem) and accompanied associations (colors); relationship between vocal properties (real-time sound visualization). Through the application reader can transform the text. For each new reading session for the new poem-text, the app generates unique visualization, incorporating sound attributes. The PAI Tool is envisioned as open-source application. Interested individuals can freely download project documentation package from link below and propose use of technology, and propose changes or improvements to application. For example: tablet (iOS or Android), desktop app (Mac, Linux, Windows), Web app (Java, Python, JS … ). The project is described in the form of product specification including: functionalities, wireframes, and users interactions. Background: The tool is part of PhD work from Design studies from China Academy of Art. Through the workshops in Berlin and Hangzhou, aimed at artists and creatives, the first version of the application will be tested, to capture and express the cultural dimension of reading experiences.
