I have some poorly written and messy Perl Code that I would like re written. It is functional and has been working for several years. It accepts strings via a TCP Socket and interpreted it into a database that is used by a web application and also an SMS Gateway. This is a client server based software that was written when I first started coding and I need it to be cleaned up and commented so that others can make sense of it with little effort. I am sure that it could also be a lot more efficient on system resource. I have been out of the programming game for a few years and because of other commitments don't have the time myself to revisit this old project. If the Freelancer awarded this project delivers the standard I am looking for then their will be the possibility of ongoing maintenance and development on this system. Thanks and talk soon.
