Web hosting matrix / detailed information gathering

Webhost information gathering (prefer process) IMPORTANT: There are two ways to approach the following project. One will be gathering data manually vs. writing a process / program that will gather the data. When you make your bid, please describe HOW you plan on gathering the data! Also, bid appropriately for the task. I'll pay more money for a re-usable application (that's reliable) rather than a one-off data gathering project. Project Description: --------------------------------------- In need of website hosting information for 25 to 30 web hosts (I'll provide the list). I'm not looking for basic information, such as company description and plans offered. Rather, I am looking for very SPECIFIC details about each plan from each web host. Here is a very small sampling: PLAN TYPE & PRICE ----------------------------- Plan Name: Plan Type: Monthly Rate(s): Set-Up Fee: Money Back Guaranty: Commitment Discount: GENERAL FEATURES ----------------- Monthly Data Transfer: Disk Space: Isolated Application Pool: Web-Based Control Panel: Web Stats: Web Raw Logs: EMAIL FEATURES -------------- Email Boxes: POP3: Email Storage Space: Web Based Email: Outgoing SMTP Server: Again, this is a small listing... details would probably consist of at least 40 to 70 attributes per hosting plan per company, depending on the plan. I need plans broken down by type (Linux, windows, reseller, dedicated, etc) with all the details of each one listed under attributes that fall within a category. Essentially, this means each host will have several "plans" that I need details on. You'll be providing the data to me in a cross-matrix / comparison style via Excel Spreadsheet, listing hosting company, plan type, plan name, and attributes and their values. So, you'll be responsible for adding attributes to the listing and referencing them to each website host. Note that there may be some instances where Host A has features that Host B doesn't have. In cases such as those, leaving the field empty is valid. Additionally, there should NOT be multiple attributes that are essentially identical. Since this information can change often, I would prefer an application be written that can automatically provide updates to the values of attributes if anything changes. The data will be pumped into an Excel spreadsheet as indicated in the example above. Without webservices or XML feeds, I really don't know if that's possible. I'll leave it up to the experts here who have a PROVEN track record of similar functionality to let me know if it's possible or not. The technology for the app would need to be .NET 2.0. Again, this is ONLY if it's possible. I am fine with manual data gathering, but bid appropriately for it. PLEASE NOTE: Payment will ONLY be through GAF Escrow and ONLY on completion of project.
