We require a .NET c# application that allows us to create an exciting user interface for a Television Style Product. We need the project started so we can complete. Initially the application will provide a shell replacement or run full screen. I must be able to play the video stream from a TV Tuner card, and change channels or input location on the TV tuner card. The application should also be able to Hook Remote Control Keys from the operating system, and send them into the application to allow the applciation to respond. We want to deploy on Windows Vista, using Microsft Remote Control. We suspect the application should use DirectShow functionality. An existing product open source would be interesting to us. In addition to the TV Tuner DirectX we will also display video that is stored locally on the PC in Windows Media Format using WMV ActiveX or other suitable technology, we would like to support H.264 as well and other codecs. The layout of the screen should be controlled by an XML layout.
