Test linespeed

I need a speed test that I can put up on my website. It should allow user to measure the download speed he has towards my site. Something like [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] The project should be developed in C# and as a web user control. Good design practice with OO in mind. We use Ms Framework 2.0 so it is important that it runs on that. The speed test will measure the speed between our server and the user by downloading an image to the user’s computer. The speed will be the avg based on the time it took to download it. If possible it would be good if the test also show peaks. With peaks i mean the fastest and slowest speed in addition to the average speed. This could be visualized as a graph. The control should display a progress bar during the test. We have a test today made in Flash but that is not reliable and in many cases it does not send data to user’s computer. The control will be provided without any restrictions and the source code + graphics will be our property on delivery.
