Description We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to focus on fixing bugs in our Node.js, React, and MongoDB-based application, which already has Stripe integrated for payment processing. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and resolve issues to ensure the application's stability. Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, and problem-solving skills are essential. issues the developer is required to fix • Order Pending Issue: Address the problem where orders are consistently stuck in a "pending" state, and when users log in, they are redirected to the "buy now" page instead of being able to start reading an eBook or listening to audio content. • Email Prompt in Stripe UI: Improve the user experience when registering with an email that is already on our platform. Ensure that the Stripe UI automatically populates the registered email, eliminating the need for redundant input. • Email Case Sensitivity Problem: Implement email address normalization to eliminate case sensitivity issues in our system. This will ensure that variations in capitalization of the first letter do not affect login or registration. • Product Interface Improvement: Replace the current "See Details" button in the product interface with a "Buy Now" button to simplify the purchasing process, allowing users to proceed directly to the checkout page. • Email Verification Enhancement: Enhance the email verification process by providing a more noticeable confirmation message upon form submission. This message should guide users to check their email for a verification link, improving the overall user experience. • Forgot Password Link Expiry Issue: Extend the expiration time for the "Forgot Password" link, such as to 24 hours, to give users a reasonable timeframe to reset their passwords without frustration Conditions • Ready to start immediately. • Willing to use time tracking tools. • Full-time commitment. • Available to work for 8 hours between 7 AM to 10 PM Eastern Time. • Must use Slack for communication purposes.
