30668 Image Editor and Uploader

We need a program that enables our clients to rotate, watermark, brighten/contrast, and add shadows/borders to images and then upload them to our server. The program will need to be fast and efficient and handle very large image files (i.e. 4000 10MB images). First, the user will have to log into the program with a username and password. The program will check this username and password against a MySql database. After the username is verified, the program will need to receive a list of folders from the database. The user will then select which folder to upload the images to on our server. A user will need to be able to select a folder (on their local machine) and load the folder of images into the program where they can view and edit all the thumbnail files. Then when they are ready they will be able to upload it to our server through the program. The program will need to resize the image automatically to a specific size before uploading. Also, there will need to be an option to upload the photo without resizing. The program will need to inform the user if the connection fails and give them the option to restart where the upload took off. Also the ability to schedule upload times. The program will need to communicate with a MySql database and enter specific information about the images. Then Load the images into a specific folder that it read from the database. And Most important, the program must do this fast and efficient. We have already attempted to hire someone to complete this program. They could not provide a working product to us. We have the Java source from this program that was almost finished but continued to fail. We will provide this source to you if you want to take over and finish where they left off. DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT UNLESS YOU ARE CONFIDENT THAT YOU CAN COMPLETE IT WITH ALL SPECIFICATIONS. IF YOU CAN NOT FINISH THE PRODUCT AS DESCRIBED YOU WILL NOT BE PAID. We do not care how you build this program as long as we have a version that works excellent on Windows and we have a version that works excellent on Mac. You can use Java , C or native code/libraries or whatever you think will be best for a multi platform program.
