We're looking for a php/mysql programmer to add a password protected, data driven news & events section to [[login to view URL]][1].
We want the ability to login to a backend tool and add events and news articles to the database and have them shown on an [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] pages on the front-end of the site.
We need the option to edit and delete on the backend as well.
No ajax is required, but a calendar date picker control would be nice to allow us to choose a date with consistent formating.
News articles require:
-Date (selected by user)
-Headline
-Content
Event require:
-Start Date & End Date
-Headline
-Content
If only a start date is chosen then only the start date should be shown on the front end. If a start and end date are chosen then both should be shown on the front end.
Also, a small module will be needed to be added to the home page which show the 3 most current news articles with a link to view all and the next 3 events that will be happening, with a link to view all.
