I want a website built that will be called '[login to view URL]'.
I want the main page to be a logo at the top (the design of this is part of the project scope, using the URL name) and then a wall of bricks to take up the main page. A user can click on a brick, and be shown a new screen [screen 2]. On screen 2, there will be a box to put their name in, a box for them to put a message in, and a paypal button to link them to a paypal payment of £1. If they fill these in and make a payment, on success, the message and their name gets added to a database. When you go back to the main screen, their name will then appear in one of the bricks, and if you click on that brick you go to a new screen [screen 3] that has their message in. There will be a fourth and final screen which will be an 'about us' screen, with a link to it somewhere at the top of the home page. So anyone going to the homepage can see bricks with people's names in and can click on each one to see the message they have written.
The homepage bricks will need to be built dynamically. When the website is first launched (and no bricks have been bought), there will be one screen's worth of empty bricks (about 12 by 8 rows). The top row is active for people to click on to buy, and each brick will need to have a 'For Sale' sign on. Then as more people 'buy a brick' on row 1 the names fill up, and eventually when row 1 is full, the bricks move down a row and a new top row becomes active for more people to buy. Once the page is full, new rows push the bottom row of the screen, but people can still scroll down and see the.
There will also be a 'barometer' on the side of the screen that goes from 0 to 200,000, with a red line that increases with the number of people that have bought a brick.
MySQL for the database if possible.
