We would like to see our homepage become a centralized location for both current and prospective members, so that they are able to communicate with one another. I'd like to see chatboards, with general and specific topics on it, as well as a section (that is easy to update) on up coming events, scholarship offerings, local volunteer oppurtunities, and a section where members would have their biographies/profiles posted. It does not have to an over the top (fancy) homepage that has all the bells and whistles of a commercial website (flash), just appealing enough so that people will be motivated to frequent the site. I would provide the programmer with all the content; I just simply need someone who can do all the programming.
