Hello, Based on what I know about this chart, you will need to be knowledgeable in Flash Actionscript and javascript to build something like this. I am in the process of building a web site for analyzing stock data and I need a chart/graph that both looks and functions like the one on Google Finance (see: [login to view URL] for an example. I've also attached a screen shot of the graph). I'm basically looking for a clone of this functionality but I actually don't need everything that it does. Must-have feature requirements: - Flash-based - Displays multiple datasets at one time (for comparing two or more stocks) - You can view all the data or define a specific data range (example: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, all data) - It needs to display the volume chart below the price chart (like in the example) - When you mouse the chart it displays the price for the particular time period - Needs to be standards compliant so that it works on all the major browsers, including Mac (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) Nice to have feature requirements: - I don't need to add any other metedata like news flags but that would be nice to have - It's not essential but I really would like to ability to drag the timeline back and forth to look at the price history When in doubt, refer to the Google example because I really like how that one functions. I'm not sure what Flash graphing library you wold want to use but I currently have a license to PHP/SWF ([login to view URL]) I believe you can download the code for free for development purposes. However, we don't have to use that library if you want to use another one. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. It would probably make the most sense to develop this on your site and then send me a link to an example that I can check out and approve. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Currently running an open source architecture: Linux PHP Apache PostgresQL (MySQL and other DBs would probably be OK). I'm more concerned with getting the display right and then we can focus on how it gets data from our system.
