Fixing Magento API

We have a Wordpress website: [login to view URL] ... using this plugin that retrieves product info from a Magento store via the Magento API: [login to view URL] There is a bug in the Magento API: See the attached PDF, except the first 2 products (cameras) all other products have the wrong image. They should be cameras too but are showing backpack photos. That is because Magento is confusing the Product ID with the SKU. So for example the 3rd product in the list (Olympus OM-D E-M5 Body Silver) has Product ID 4364 and Magento is instead sending the image of another product with Product SKU 4364. In other Words, the Magento API is mixing the data it sends back if there are products with the same Product ID and Product SKU. Previously it was sending the product name and description wrong too, until we made this change in Magento and it fixed some of the problems: [login to view URL] ... but we need a Magento ninja to fix the API also to send the correct image. We will choose a freelancer that has PROVEN experience with the Magento API, not just building themes.
